P5 — BrainMatter
I recently updated my BrainMatter sketch with a gui via the Tweakpane library. I really dig the simplicity of the api and interface. I’ve been wanting to add guis to my sketches for a while and with a few beginner’s hiccups I got it done! I’ll be adding Tweakpane to some other sketches, keep an eye out 🙏. I started this sketch intending to express my understanding of neuronal patching. The neurons in this sketch are deeply connected, that is, each neuron is connected to every other neuron. Each frame neurons are patched together, successful patches move neurons closer together while unsuccessful patches allow for stillness. I love to watch the graceful movements of geometry. To see the movements that might have inspired me when I first started working on this sketch try setting alpha to 255, and output to brainLine.
